Fuel Discounting Policy
It is the policy of the FERC to prohibit discounting of fuel without their prior authorization. Please refer to KM Interstate Gas Transmission, LLC's tariff for the Fuel and Retention factors that shall be used.

Kinder Morgan Interstate Gas Transmission, LLC (KMIGT) is a "natural gas company" under the definition of Section 2(6) of the Natural Gas Act and is subject to the jurisdiction of the Commission. KMIGT's operations include the transportation and storage of natural gas. KMIGT operates in the states of Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Wyoming performing one or more of these functions.

(FT) Firm Transportation Service
Provides firm transportation service where customers have rights to pipeline and point capacities on the basis of contracted receipt and delivery points. Additionally, customers have access to other points within and outside the selected path.
(IT) Interruptible Transportation Service
Provides interruptible transportation service. Customers with this service have access to all receipt and delivery points on the system.
(NNS) Non-Nominated Storage Service
Provides a firm delivered no-notice peaking service up to the Maximum Daily Quantity. NNS has seasonal injection and withdrawal parameters and a Maximum Storage Volume equal to 45 times the MDQ. This service also allows shippers to utilize the embedded firm transportation component separately from storage throughout the year.
(FSS) Firm Storage Service
Provides a firm storage service up to where injection and withdrawal quantities are based on storage inventory. FSS has a Maximum Storage Volume ("MSV") equal to 45 times the contract Maximum Daily Withdrawal Quantity. The Maximum Daily Injection Quantity is equal to 1/90 of the MSV. This service provides storage rights in the central zone, with cycling requirements and certain limitations on maximum and minimum inventory quantities.
(ISS) Interruptible Storage Service
Provides an interruptible storage service that is available in Central zone. As the name implies, this storage service is provided on a "best efforts" basis.
(PALS) Park and Loan Service
Is an interruptible service for parking and loaning gas that provides shippers another tool for balancing daily receipts/deliveries and managing its overall supply portfolio of services including taking advantage of pricing differentials. PALS is performed based on KMIGT's system operating conditions and line pack. This service is available in all zones and at any mutually agreeable points.
(SPALS) Park and Loan Service
Is an interruptible service for parking and loaning gas that provides shippers another tool for balancing daily receipts/deliveries and managing its overall supply portfolio of services including taking advantage of pricing differentials. SPALS is performed based on KMIGT's system operating conditions, storage, and line pack. This service is available in all zones and at any mutually agreeable points.
