Kinder Morgan Illinois LLC ("KMIP") is a natural gas pipeline company engaged in the business of transporting natural
gas in interstate commerce. It originates near Beecher, IL where it connects with
Northern Border and extends north, connecting to ANR and NGPL, and finally terminating
at the Chicago City Limits where it delivers gas to The Peoples Gas Light and Coke
Company's distribution system. The 28-mile pipeline system has an initial design
capacity of 360,000 dekatherms per day.
KMIP is a limited liability company, which is owned by NGPL PipeCo LLC, a
Delaware limited liability company. Kinder Morgan Inc, a Kansas corporation, owns
100% of the stock of NGPL HoldCo Inc., which in turn, owns 20% of the membership
interests in NGPL PipeCo LLC, and operates KMIP. Myria Acquisition Inc. owns 80%
of the membership interests in NGPL PipeCo LLC.

Service
Provides firm transportation service where customers have rights to
pipeline and point capacities on the basis of contracted receipt and delivery
points. Additionally, customers have access to other points within and outside
the selected path.

Transportation Service
Provides interruptible transportation service. Customers with this
service have access to all receipt and delivery points on the system.
