Horizon Pipeline Company LLC is a limited liability company owned 50% by Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America LLC (NGPL) and 50% by Nicor-Horizon, Inc. Horizon is a natural gas pipeline company engaged in the business of transporting natural gas in interstate commerce. Its facilities originate at the Chicago supply hub near Joliet, Illinois and extend northward to an interconnection with NGPL and the Nicor Gas distribution system in McHenry County, Illinois. Horizon also leases 380,000 dekatherms per day of capacity on NGPL's interstate pipeline system originating in Grundy County, Illinois and extending to an interconnect between the two systems in Du Page County, Illinois. The Horizon Pipeline has an initial a design capacity of 380,000 dekatherms per day.

(FTS)Firm Transportation Service Provides firm transportation service where customers have rights to pipeline and point capacities on the basis of contracted receipt and delivery points. Additionally, customers have access to other points within and outside the selected path. (ITS) Interruptible Transportation Service Provides interruptible transportation service. Customers with this service have access to all receipt and delivery points on the system.
